Its new Quick-release headband allows the HM61R V2.0 to be instantly detached and used as a handheld flashlight.

Operating the lamp is effortless with a single, large push-button switch located at the end, making it easy to use even while wearing gloves. Enhanced operating modes enable continuous use for an impressive 300 hours in the lowest brightness setting. The HM61R V2.0 is powered by a versatile 18650 Li-ion rechargeable battery, or alternatively, by two cold-resistant CR123A batteries.
