The mains power controlled by the device can be switched via mobile phone using SMS text messages, a phone call, or a mobile application. SimPal T40-V2 is compatible with all operators' SIM cards and does not require a separate data contract; voice and text message services are sufficient. The device is suitable for controlling home, cabin, and office equipment indoors.

The SimPal T40-V2 also warns of power outages and their restoration. This information allows the user to report power outages to electricity companies and take necessary measures if the power outage continues for an extended period. The SimPal T40-V2 system can also be expanded with SimPal T20-V2 sockets (max. 4 units) and wireless sensors (max. 6 units). Control of the remote unit occurs at a 433 MHz wireless frequency. This allows multiple remote-controlled sockets to be installed at the location, controlled by a single SIM card, and the system can be expanded into a small-scale burglar alarm.

A temperature sensor is included in the product package, making the device versatile for various automatic heating controls in homes, garages, boats, and summer cottages. Temperature information can also be transmitted via SMS text message directly to a GSM mobile phone.

Device installation is straightforward: Insert a SIM card into the device and define the phone number via SMS text message #00# - after this, the device is ready for use. With SMS #01#, the device switches power on, and with #02#, it switches power off. An easy-to-use Android/iOS application is also available for the device. For advanced users, the device offers options for defining five numbers, scheduled/delayed controls, and many other useful additional features.

The SimPal T40-V2 GSM plug is safe. The device complies with all safety regulations required for CE approval, and its casing is made of non-flammable plastic material. The SimPal T40-V2 socket is ideal for remote starting home/cabin/car heating and/or air conditioning, restarting IT equipment, remote starting home appliances, and controlling lawn irrigation systems and/or lighting.
