This 2m MPO Female to 4 LC/UPC Duplex 8-Fiber Type B OM3 Multimode Breakout Cable is engineered for high-density fiber patching in modern data centers. It provides a highly efficient and cost-effective alternative to complex field terminations, streamlining cable management and optimizing space utilization within network infrastructures.


Designed for high-speed data transmission, this OM3 50/125 µm multimode cable supports 40/100G Ethernet over distances up to 100m at 850nm, and 10G Ethernet up to 300m at 850nm. It is perfectly suited for direct connections between 40G QSFP+ SR4 to 10G SFP+ SR, and 100G QSFP SR4 to 25G SFP-25G-SR-S optical transceivers facilitating seamless upgrades and expansions.


Featuring an MPO Female (pinless) connector on one end and four LC/UPC Duplex connectors on the other, this breakout cable ensures reliable and precise connections. The MPO connector boasts an Elite grade with a maximum insertion loss of 0.5dB.


Constructed with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket, this cable minimizes the emission of toxic and corrosive gases in the event of a fire, making it ideal for use in enclosed spaces and public buildings where safety is paramount. The robust design also ensures durability with an installation tensile load of 100 N and a long-term tensile load of 50 N.


Utilizing Corning ClearCurve® glass fiber, the cable offers superior bend performance without compromising optical performance. This advanced fiber technology, combined with stringent manufacturing processes, ensures high stability and reliability for critical network applications, operating efficiently across a wide temperature range from -20°C to 60°C.
