The new PocketBook Touch HD 3 e-reader is completely waterproof thanks to HZO Protection. This provides peace of mind when reading on the beach, taking a swim, or even being out in the rain. A micro-thin coating protects the device's internal electronics from potential damage caused by moisture or liquids. With HZO Protection, the e-reader has IPX7 capabilities, allowing it to be submerged in fresh water up to one meter deep for up to 30 minutes without causing damage.

The product is equipped with a multi-sensor E Ink Carta display with HD resolution (1072 x 1448, 300 DPI), offering contrast and sharpness reminiscent of a real book.

SMARTlight technology provides balanced light and a harmonious reading experience day and night. Additional settings allow adjustment of both brightness and the color temperature of the front light. The automatic SMARTlight mode is the default setting and takes into account both the time of day and the user's daily rhythm.

Those who prefer to adjust the front light settings themselves can use the manual mode. You don't need to stop reading to change brightness or color temperature; simply adjust SMARTlight directly from the reading application on the e-book page by swiping the touchscreen up or down. Users can also create an unlimited number of automatic SMARTlight setting templates and switch between them.
